Pros Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, and Eugene Levy. Entertaining movie for families.
Cons Some silly moments. Bonnie Hunt was underused.
Recommended it? Yes

I have liked Steve Martin for years and I tend to see any movie he is in just because of his presence. He can be silly, but I think he is very funny and usually enjoy his movies. In the last few years, he has become more popular again. In December of 2003, he appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen with... Read full review »

Pros Steve Martin, lots of laughs.
Cons Predictable plot.
Recommended it? Yes

Cheaper By The Dozen 2 is the follow up movie to a prior Steve Martin film by the same name. This movie was released in 2005 and featured for the most part the same cast as the first one (Baker family) with the addition of the Murtaugh family. I found Cheaper By The Dozen 2 to be more... Pros Levy and Martin, Sarah's storyline, summery fun
Cons rampant destruction, predictable
Recommended it? Yes

I recently watched the Steve Martin remake of Cheaper By the Dozen, and while I found it predictably corny and slapstick-heavy, I also thought it was a fun and occasionally touching movie. When I realized that there was a sequel, I quickly stuck that in the queue, and it, too, is a silly but rather... Read full review »

*Blu-ray Review* Cheaper By The Dozen 2

Pros It's always nice to see Eugene Levy at work.
Cons Most people over the age of 13 won't buy it.
Recommended it? No

Despite his mad comedic and musical skills, Steve Martin seems to have a habit of making “bad” movies. Many of his earlier works (i.e. The Jerk) received more than their fair share of negative reviews upon release. And, while those films are now being hailed as comedy classics, the... Pros Martin/Levy team, many of the children's performances
Cons No real laugh-out-loud moments, some character development

"Tom" (Steve Martin) and "Kate Baker" (Bonnie Hunt) are starting the part of parenthood that many parents dread -- their oldest kids are starting to enter adulthood and are beginning to move out of the house. And out of the two, "Tom" is taking the changes hardest since he is so close to his 12... Read full review »

Pros This is a enjoyable, family-loving movie, with different character traits.
Cons Elliot. He was very annoying.

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 features many famous actors, such as Steve Martin, Tom Welling, Eugene Levy, Hilary Duff, and Carmen Elektra. The main idea of this movie is about a family of 12 (thus called Cheaper by the DOZEN)who are slowly splitting apart. One girl is pregnant, another girl is finishing... Read full review »

Cons Steve Martin is mostly annoying in this movie, and I usually like him!

I watched this DVD the other night and was really glad that I got it from a Redbox $1.00 automatic rental machine because it wasn't worth a regular rental price.

The story continues on from the original movie, which was funny, entertaining and quite heartwarming at times. The Baker's... Read full review »

Steve Martin returns as the proud patriarch of the Baker family in this sequel to the original CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, based on a book by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth. This time, all twelve Baker kids and their parents, Tom (Martin) and Kate (Bonnie Hunt), are going on vacation, returning to their summer cabin in Wisconsin for one last hurrah before the kids grow up and go their separate ways. Lorraine (Hilary Duff) is on her way to New York to begin an internship with VOGUE, Nora (Piper Perabo) is hugely pregnant, and the Bakers want to spend some quality time all together for a change. As the family arrives at their old house, however, they realize that some things have changed--and some things never do. Tom's old high school rival, Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy) is now the big man about town, owning much of the surrounding area, and raising his large family in a huge home across the lake from the Bakers'. The longstanding competition between the two families--or at least that of the fathers--mo
