Pros small and compact
Cons blurry pictures and lag,lag,lag
Recommended it? No

I bought this camera as my first Nikon experience. I had heard so much about the quality of Nikon cameras and was very excited to get the opportunity to purchase one. I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the camera and wish I had returned it. I have had a terrible time with blurry... Read full review »

Pros Good video, quality pictures, lots of features
Cons Slow shutter speed, limited control on exposure settings
Recommended it? Yes

I've owned this camera for over a year now and have taken some absolutely wonderful pictures with it. I keep it set for five megapixels and have a number of the best shots blown up to 16x20 prints and framed in my house and office. The print quality is fantastic, the colors are vibrant and the... Megapix for mini bucks

byJesseRay Mar 7, 2007
5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Print quality pictures, price, Nikon reliability.
Cons Could recyle a bit faster
Recommended it? Yes

Got my Nikon Coolpix 7600 for my Honeymoon cruise last year. Paid less than $150 for a 7+ megapixel camera when $150 should get you a 3.1 megapix unit. Can't beat that.
The camera worked fine for me in all the standard modes one would use. The pictures produced with sharp and brilliant and... Read full review »

Pros In-camera red eye reduction, clear pictures (when they work right).
Cons Fuzzy!! Blurry because the auto-focus has much to be desired. Slow to take multiple...

I bought this camera today, and within 4 hours I returned it. I would say that 8 out of 10 pictures came out blurry, for no good reason. I had it on the self timer, and even then, with no way possible that someone could shake the camera, it was blurry.

The pictures it took well, it took... Read full review »

Fantastic Camera

bycwbaker Jan 5, 2007

Pros Amazing macro and panoramas (comes with PhotoStitch software)
Cons Slow to recover from flash, sometimes misreads lighting
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this as my first camera and I was blown away at its macro capabilities. I would say that general picture taking is on par with other cameras in the price range.

The auto focus can be tricky on closer shots, as I assume happens with many compact digital cameras. Some of the shots... Read full review »

UNcoolpix 7600

bywrxlover Oct 16, 2006

Pros inexpensive, small, cute, 2 AA batteries last very long.
Cons most pictures are blurred, behaves poorly in the dark, flash takes forever to reload.
Recommended it? No

I have had several Nikon 35mm SLR's and have always been extremely satisfied. then, about 5-6 months ago, I purchased a Coolpix 7600 and only got around to using it recently. To be frank I have had nothing but problems with it and I was wondering what can be done. I don't know if it's defective or... Read full review »

Love It

byjenmur Jan 17, 2006
3 Helpfuls 4 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to Use, High-Quality photos, lots of photo options (style-wise and set up wise)
Cons slow to recover from flash use, small view screen
Recommended it? Yes

I've had this camera about a month and taken at least 200 pictures with it... I've only had about 10 pictures turn out fuzzy. 2 of which were lowlighting, and 3 of which were self-portraits... the camera also tells you when there's a chance the photo will be blurry and asks you if you want to take... Very Good Camera

bydavebone1 Jul 15, 2006
2 Helpfuls 3 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to use Outstanding photo quality
Cons Slow when using flash
Recommended it? Yes

This camera is a very good unit. Reading the other reviews, I have to agree with the majority of them saying that it is slow to recover from flash photography. As with any digital camera, it drains batteries when using the LCD to take pictures. One reviewer mentioned that it takes blurry pictures... Read full review »

Pros Price, Compact, Fashion statement, D-light feature. Uses SD Card.
Cons Takes time to learn on how to use.
Recommended it? Yes

Bought it in June 2005 after fed up with 2MP camera.

It is rather small so people with large hands may find it hard to use it.

It takes practice before you are able to take great pictures.

It has many options & sub-menus with help assist.

Taking low light... Read full review »

Disappointed

bywooster90 Jan 1, 2007
1 Helpfuls 2 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Small, easy to use menu
Cons Blurry pictures, extremely slow flash recycle
Recommended it? No

My dad has been very happy with Nikon 35mm cameras. When my Canon digital quit working due to a shutter problem, I thought I would try the Nikon. The recycle time between flash is terrible - particularly if you are trying to photograph small children. Many of the pictures are blurry - not a problem... Read full review »
