the stars that burn brightest, burn quickest.
i actually don't know what i was thinking or expecting when renting this movie, other than that i'd just re-watched freaks & geeks for the 8th time, and was on a sort of james franco high.
the problem is, i don't think james franco is a very good actor. his performance as james dean was...

Dean is played by James Franco under the direction of Hollywood veteran Mark Rydell, a friend of Dean during his life.
