Pros Build quality, features, supplied accessories, performance, photo quality, resolution
Cons Some chromatic aberration, no viewfinder
Recommended it? Yes

I was able to get the Kodak EasyShare V530 for $220 online. The V530 is a 5-Megapixel digital camera, which is pretty similar to the 5-Megapixel Kodak EasyShare V550 I had earlier, aside from the smaller LCD screen and less flashy design. The V530 is available in Black, Silver, Red and Pink colors... Read full review »

Cons Software is horrific to deal with. Cradle is testy. Buttons are a pain.

We purchased this camera at Walmart on a whim. We looked at the floor model and were impressed with the image quality in the viewing window. We also liked the many features and settings it had. I am a layman when it comes to gadgets so you'll have to forgive my simple language in describing the... Read full review »

In this review I will compare the Kodak V530 to the Canon SD200, two of the finalists in my search for a good pocket-sized camera.

I've had this camera for a couple weeks now. So far, I find it to be excellent, especially for the price I paid (about $260 Canadian plus tax after some... Read full review »

Being a novice in photography, I started my picture taking adventures with the Kodak v530 after reading good reviews online. After it came and I started using it, the camera definitely did not disappoint. It's easy to use, the pictures come out very clear, and the transfer to my computer is very... Read full review »

I just bought this camera 4/7/2006 from Walmart for $197 minus my 10% discount!! This camera is great thus far. This camera also takes decent video. I had a 512MB SD Card and went to the club and recorded some video and it was kind of dark, but that is to be expected. I took some nice pics in low... Read full review »

My wife wanted a camera for Xmas. Her requirements were simple; she wanted it to be very small, and wanted it to be red in colour. She hinted at the new Canon Digital Elph, so I started researching little red cameras. Based on features and specs, the Kodak V530 looked like a better digicam for a... Read full review »

Form before function, but more than adequate for small digital

Cons lens noise in video mode, unstable mount for cradle, no distance in flash

Generally before writing a review, I go back through those that preceded mine. This provides the opportunity to disagree, provide a cumulative summary, or to just shed a different light all together.

First off, my opinion of the v530 is biased. 35mm is still my first choice in situations... Read full review »

My Kodak EasyShare V530 Digital Camera is one of the best purchases I've made in a while.  I needed a camera that had excellent quality but was not very expensive.  With 8.2 megapixels, my pictures are crisp and colorful- looking as beautiful as the way I saw things on the day I took them.  The... I bought the Kodak Easy Share V530 at a local super store for a little over $200. I thought this was an excellent price for a Kodak digital camera.
