Snazziest mouse ever. But no middle click!

byrasi2290 Oct 6, 2006

Pros Perfectly shaped for right-handers. Accurate. Free-spinning scrollwheel. Document Flip...
Cons NO MIDDLE CLICK. Buggy and/or weird software. Expensive. No fun at all for lefties!
Recommended it? Yes

You know, I was going to give this mouse two stars, and suggest avoiding it. But the more I used it, the more I liked it. It's actually pretty great - it just has a learning curve and takes a little getting used to. Now I love it.

Here's the skinny: the MX Revolution has a free-spinning... Read full review »

Pros Excellent technology, ergonomics, and the search button.
Cons Expensive.
Recommended it? Yes

A famous king is reputed to one have said, "A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!" Sometimes we computer users are, with similar desperation, inclined to shout, "A mouse, a mouse, my kingdom for a mouse that doesn't go nuts on me!" A very good solution to any mouse problems you may be... Read full review »

MX Revolution: No dramatic but noteworthy improvements.

bytheuerkorn Aug 2, 2007
29 Helpfuls 30 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros ergonomic, stylish, scroll wheel, functional, adaptive search tool,
Cons expensive, transmission problems, some application support of advanced features
Recommended it? Yes

Is there really a possible revolution left in the design of a computer mouse, as the product reaches a very mature state? Logitech seems to think so and even labeled their latest "world's most advanced mouse" accordingly. Marketing has adopted the term "revolution" with such a vengeance that the... Read full review »

Great feeling mouse, but here's what they don't tell you...

Pros best rechargeable mouse on the market. sleek. great feeling mouse. ergonomic.
Cons cheap dock. annoying "free spin" scroll wheel feature. expensive. bad software.
Recommended it? Yes

The Logitech MX Revolution Mouse is the top of the line mouse in Logitech's series of cordless mouse. The main feature attracting me to this mouse is that it is rechargable. I was tired of having to change the batteries in my mouse every few months. I ordered the mouse from Buy.com with a $20... Read full review »

Best pointing device I've used

bys-o-m-e-g-u-y Jan 16, 2009

Pros Search button is outstanding, integrated battery, back/forward buttons and document-flip...
Cons Range isn't that great, mouse MUST be charged to use
Recommended it? Yes

I've previously used a Logitech wireless mouse, in the MX1000, but I've got to admit that the MX Revolution is a great upgrade! It sounds kindof dumb, because you'd think in a pointing device like a mouse there isn't a whole lot you can do to improve it. With this one though, it's a sure fire... More of a revolution to how I use my computer than anything

bybloodfyr Apr 28, 2007

Pros Comfortable
Easy setup
Document Flip is worth the price alone
Cons No middle button
Buttons aren't completely customizable
Recommended it? Yes

I'll admit it. I'm an old school computer geek. I can do things faster with the keyboard than I could ever hope to do with the mouse. I know just about every keyboard shortcut for Windows there is to know. So to me, the mouse was just something extraneous. Something I never really had to worry too... Read full review »

Joining the revolution, revised

Pros Works as expected on a Mac
Cons Clickwheel doesn't scroll up at desired rate on long pages
Recommended it? Yes

I wrote a review in January that gave this mouse a lousy 2 star rating. Since that time, I've given the mouse another shot and after replacing bad RAM that was plaguing my Macintosh with disease, this mouse works fabulously. I think the RAM issues may have been even affecting the way the Logitech... Read full review »

Pros Extremely comfortable and accurate.
Cons Expensive

First off, I purchased the MX Revolution at the Sam's Club for $79.95, that was 2 weeks ago. Just a glance at the carton and you can tell that the packaging assures that the mouse was well protected during shipment, not like some I've seen where the actual mouse is right there in the front, exposed... Pros Excellent design, features and battery life
Cons Troublesome scroll wheel.

I recently purchased the Logitech Revolution MX to replace my well-worn and well-loved Logitech G7 (the laser finally quit on me), and am rather pleased with the device.

DESIGN: EXCELLENT
The design is rather striking, but is still contoured perfectly to fit my hand. (A note on this:... Read full review »
