Pros Works perfectly with our Wireless-G devices
Cons Interference from 2.4 GHz phone causes lost wireless network /internet connection
Recommended it? Yes

We are heavy wireless network/internet cable modem users in our household, first used a Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router, then upgraded to a Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Router with SpeedBooster (which was an improvement) supporting all Wireless-G enabled devices: 2 wired and 4 wireless PCs, a... Pros Fairly easy set up!
Cons No Apple support, range not as great as expected!
Recommended it? No

I, like many other millions of Americans am a homeowner! Now there is nothing unusual about that. I have a wife, two kids a dog and a large mortgage. I also have two-wired MAC computers and a laptop. I wanted to connect all three, and be able to use the laptop all over the house. So I go out and... Read full review »

Home Wireless Router Does The Job

bysynthetic_one Oct 26, 2007
8 Helpfuls 9 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to install, and best of all, it seems to work!
Cons None noted.
Recommended it? Yes

I'm no "wireless wizard." In fact, I've barely mastered my garage door opener, and TV remote.

For years we've had a home desktop PC with cable service ISP.

Our son (and we) would now benefit from an in-room computer with internet access. We added a new Dell desktop PC and, after... Read full review »

WRT300N Unuseable for any purpose

Pros I haven't found any
Cons Unreliable, inefficient, too expensive, no support, evasive vendor ;-(
Recommended it? No

The WRT300N product just plain doesn't work. I have been testing them for two months and I have had a variety of bandwidth and lost session problems that have had me pulling out my hair. LinkSys technical support can not resolve any issues related to this product. I highly recommend that anyone... Read full review »

Pros Good speed when connected.
Cons Disconnects right in the middle of work. Worthless for the money spent.
Recommended it? No

I have used several routers, by far this is the worst router ever. Disconnects every few hours and have to wait to get connected back. Read full review »

Pros It looks cool? Other than that, I got nothin'
Cons terrible reliability. locks up frequently.
Recommended it? No

I have employed two separate routers on two separate networks and have had the same poor luck. Using the most current flashes from Linksys, this router is very unreliable, often dropping connections where signal strength is very strong. Sadly I replaces two very good Linksys G routers. I would have... Read full review »

Save your money...

Pros Has potential
Cons Poor performance, does not do what it promises. Infact, makes the signal worse.
Recommended it? No

Recently got this from Best Buy and were impressed by the promised boost in power and range. Unfortunately, this was actually a lesser performer than the Wireless G. So, this is going back to the store and the G is being put back in for now!

Linksys customer service could not help either. Read full review »

With a couple trees and an entire warehouse to go through we weren't expecting the Lynksis N to get to our house from our office but it does! Even with a g adaptor that came with the laptop! Read full review »

Pros Speed.
Cons Flaky connectivity.
Recommended it? No

I bought this product because I've always stood behind Linksys routers. I've used Linksys wired, wireless-g, and now wireless-n routers. I was excited about the new wireless-n technology, so I trusted that Linksys would have what I was looking for.

This router is very quick, and has the... Read full review »

Helpful? 1 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Simple Setup, Easy To Use
Cons Short Range
Recommended it? No

It started out amazing with a huge, strong wireless range around my 2 story house. Now, it really struggles to get connection to my upstairs and intermittently cuts out. A very simple user friendly user interface for setup. Couldn't be easier. I am now making the switch to D-Link and hopefully it... Read full review »
