Two days after publishing a review lauding the Logitech Z-5300E and saying that I wasn't going to exchange it with the Z-5500, I had a sudden change of heart. My opinion of the Z-5300E sound system did not change, but the price of the Z-5500 did. Seeing that the Z-5500 system could suddenly be had... Read full review »

As a college student living in the on-campus residence halls with just a laptop to my name, I was always forced to stick with the best 2.1 system I could find. Upon moving to an apartment where I could have my own room, I decided to build a desktop computer and upgrade to a 5.1 system. After much... Read full review »

Control Centre:

This is the brains of the system. It includes all the controls, inputs and digital processing. The front panel has an oversized volume knob in a central position which is very pleasing to use, as it simulates a volume control on high end DJ equipment. It sports a nice... Read full review »

I got this set on Nov. 6, 04 so it's almost 3 yrs old and in all that time I've never had one issue with it and the best thing is it still works like new. In fact I would even go as far as to say it sounds much better now than it did the day I bought them and it's probably because they're well... Read full review »

I bought the Logitech Z-5300e's about six months ago to be installed in our rec room - or commonly known as the "gaming rig". The price was right at $199.99 (Best Buy) after rebates and seeing as it's 'big brother' - the Z-5500's - were $499.99 plus tax, the decision was a no-brainer.

I decided to get this system after the sub on my old Logitech Z560 started rattling. The Z560 have served me well for almost 4 years so I thought replacing it with another Logitech is probably the logical move.

All of a sudden, consumers are concerned about audio in a computer system. For years, no one gave a damn about the audio system or the speakers connected to a computer. No one seemed to care if the bleeps and gunshots coming from the video games on the computer sounded clear or not! Then came... Read full review »
