Can Eddie only do one red-neck accent?
To be fair, it was a good movie. There was a solid plot, with few, if any, holes. The main actors are both well known. (Eddie Murphy as approximately eight different characters) and Janet Jackson as his girlfriend/fiance.
Overall:
My main point of conflict with this movie was that...

An Unoriginal Yet Funny Movie
In spite of his crude and often stereotypical humor, I have always found Eddie Murphy to be extremely entertaining. However, The Nutty Professor II failed to meet the high expectations I had for it. Although there were several funny sequences, this movie basically rehashed the original.

Can Eddie Murphy Ever Just Play Eddie Murphy Again?
A few weekends ago my mother had to get surgery, and I spent a great deal of time trying to distract her and cheer her up. (The surgery went well, the results were good, and she?s in perfect health now.) I also needed a little cheering of my own due to the fact that I?d just gotten a terrible... Read full review »
Eddie Comes Back for Seconds
If you've ever dreamed of being molested by an animal, getting it on with someone's grandma, or lighting your own flatulence, this is the movie for you. If not, you may still actually find yourself taking some guilty enjoyment in it.
The Klumps may be one of the more deliberately and...

Ugly, loud and just not funny.
While the original 'Nutty' was a slight, sweet and very funny affair, the sequel avoids any semblance of what made the first one a pretty darn good comedy. Unfunny jokes are fired at an assaulting pace, while Murphy takes on 7 different roles and fails at breathing any real fun into any of them... Read full review »
Klumps
My stepfather bought this movie the other day. I had seen "The Nutty Professor" with Eddie Murphy and couldn't miss the sequel. When my stepfather offered to let me take it home I couldn't wait.
I got the tape home and sat back with my son ready to enjoy the show. Now I will admit the...

The Junk Food Of Movies
Think of a serious, intellectually stimulating film that makes you think or learn something new as nutrition for your brain. That would be the main course. Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, on the other hand, could be considered dessert, a quick snack?junk food. But sometimes, when junk food is what... Read full review »
Nutty Professor 2: The Dumps
I never go to the movies unless the movie I am going to see is something that I really want to see. I have tried to sit and think of a movie that I have really wanted to see enough to prompt a trip to the theatres during the past year but there isn't one. As time goes on and technology gets better... Read full review »
Too Much Murphy Leaves A Jedi Disappointed
You know you really like a movie when you become able to recite every word from a particular scene in a film word for word. Over the years, I?ve seen many films that have made me experience that phenomenon. However, I can?t really remember one that made me experience this as fast as the first... Read full review »
