CLIE SJ22 - A cosmetic facelift of the older "discontinued" SJ30 model
To keep up with the market and maintain a presence in the medium priced PDA market, Sony took its original T615 model changed the case and cosmetic design as well as unit size... and dubbed it the SJ30. That was nearly a year ago. The unit sold for $299 and sold well for Sony. However, as time... Read full review »
Good for the price
I believe a PDA should be small and do what you need, not what you think you need. So many have extra things like crappy MP3 player or camera, when you are really better off just getting a second device (I have an iPod, since I want 1000 CDs, not 10 or so available). The SK22 has the up to date... Read full review »
Color for Cheap, Good PDA
I bought the PEG-SJ22 because my old Handspring Visor got Alzheimer's. It kept losing my data whenever the battery runs low. Also a few weeks ago I got my wife a Zire 71 because she wanted the build-in camera for her real estate business and the color screen on the Zire 71 was so nice (see my... Read full review »
Super Cool, but Missing Software
I bought this to replace my old Handspring Visor Deluxe. The speed and display are what sold me. It's also smaller and lighter than my old Visor, and I really like the jog navigation so I can scroll through without using the pen.
One major problem though - it only comes with PC software...

Sony corrects software issue
I've lived with this device for about 1 month now and it is a fabulous performer. However, Sony reached for a price point and sacrificed some pretty important software applications to do it.
First, Intellisync Lite is not included. This application allows you to sync your Outlook calendar...

Handy device, good starter PDA
I got one of these after my father in law raved about his. He liked it a bunch and I have a hard time remembering phone numbers so I decided to try it. I liked that it had an expansion memory spot and I could hold spreadsheet data in addition to always having a calculator. It took a little bit of... Read full review »
For right now, a great buy
I use my PDA as a personal computer. I have my phone numbers, daily schedule, recipes, meeting notes, and monthly reports on my PDA. But my sweet Handspring Edge is hard to read. When I saw that the Sony SJ22, with a bright, color display, was available for only $85, I snapped it up.
No...

Good price/performance
Paid: $84.40 before tax ($130 less 12% less $30 rebate) at Staples, including a free case.
I'm upgrading from a Clie T-415, monochrome with 8M. Previously, I've used a Palm III and a PalmPilot Personal. I've also used the PC-based simulator. For the price, the SJ-22 seems like a fine...

Great PDA for the Price
One reviewer, see "Top Reviewer", has extensively written about the features of of the Sony SJ22 so I am not going to go into details of the units operation. Suffice to say, that I have had this unit for two months and do not have any complaints.
My likes are the color screen, ease of use...

I'm going back to Palm
I had 2 Palm Pilots before I decided to try an upgraded color screen PDA. I was disappointed when I found it didn't sync with Outlook but found great software to do the job (Beyond Contacts). But- the battery life is terrible. I have it sitting in a cradle in my office all day and I take it out to... Read full review »
