Sony's RDR-GX330 DVD Recorder - What? No Pause Button?

Works Great!
Just to lay out the scenario, pvr cable box into audio/video in on the 330. Digital sound out to 5.1 amp, and video out using composite, progressive (480p). What a nightmare!!!
We purchased this product because the sales guy said he had tried several and really liked this one the best. I purchased it on sale for 169.99 from CompUsa (another nightmare). A nightmare!!!
I wanted this DVD because it records to all the different formats. However, I could not never obtain any video. The audio come through fine.
