Pros Great Sound, Comfort, Durability
Cons None

I bought my Sony MDR V150's when I bought my Memorex CD/MP3 Player. I knew I'd want the V150s after trying out the pair my cousin owns and seeing so many of my friends and acuantances with them.

The headphones there were included with the Memorex weren't bad, in fact they work great for... Read full review »

Sony MDR-V150 Professional Headphones

Pros sound quality, comfortable, price
Cons none
Recommended it? Yes

These do not provide complete noise abatement but they certainly keep it down to a dull roar. The main reason we decided on the Sony MDR-V150 was because we were beyond through with those darn ear buds. The hard ones that come with products today are just brutal. They are too large to fit my ear... Read full review »

byra64 Dec 6, 2004
26 Helpfuls 27 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Price, overall sound quality
Cons Comfort,"weak" bass
Recommended it? Yes

In the past, I have used various cheap, open style headphones from Awia, Koss, Panasonic and Sony, most of which I picked up for around five bucks or that came free with a portable music device or something of that sort. These headphones had a life expectancy of about 3 months to one year. Since I... Read full review »

Cons Ask me tomorrow and I still won't know of any cons.

Who could ever forget the portable and popular Walkman? It seems like everyone has heard of them and I believe they must have made headphones popular as well.

When boomboxes get in the way, who cannot love headphones? I like them. You must like them. Heck, when my parents are listening to... Read full review »

Cons ... nothing significant...

With the arrival of my first child and the house getting smaller as a result, finding time to do things had been getting more difficult, and the chances of any noise created being a problem increased. The simple solution seemed to be a set of headphones, and you know what? I really wish I'd got... Read full review »

Great for recording on a budget

byHawgWyld Dec 5, 2009

Pros Inexpensive; very good sound reproduction
Cons The bass reproduction is more than a bit unrealistic; good for recording but not great
Recommended it? Yes

As I mentioned in my review of the Behringer Guitar Link, I do love recording on a budget. In order to do that effectively, however, I needed to get a decent set of headphones. I've got a small set of Sony earbuds that are just fine for listening to music at the office, but they're not much for... Read full review »

Pros The price is insanely good; sturdy cable; sleek model design.
Cons Cord is way too effing long.

I've been running them all through my head, the massive list of headphones that I've used throughout the time as a music lover-- aka my whole entire life. But around the end of high school, I started to really concentrate on music technology. Five dollar ear buds to cram into my ears just weren't... Read full review »

Redesign the Jack Sony!

13 Helpfuls 14 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Good price for sound quality
Cons Stupid large destructive Jack
Recommended it? No

These are fine affordable headphones if you never move.  The sound quality on these, the comfort level and the price would make allow me to rate the product much higher, but one feature is atrocius.  The Jack that is plugged into you music device is potentially devastating to the sound.  You may...
