This Ain';t Your Daddy';s Mummy
The Mummy Returns is the first Earplug Movie of the official summer season. You?ve been warned.
Roaring armies of the undead, clanging sword blades, chitter-clicking hordes of scorpions, thundering waves of water?it?s enough to make you bleed from both sides of your head. This is the kind...

FINALLY, THE MUMMY HAS RETURNED TO THE THEATER, WITH THE ROCK
The Mummy Returns kicks off the start of the summer blockbusters. The film is a great start after such a lousy batch of films since the end of last summer.
The Mummy Returns is a total sequel. Although it is unnecessary to see the first film to enjoy this one, it is certainly helpful to...

Bigger, Faster, Louder, More!
More! Get some more mummies in there! A hot-air balloon? Why not? Figure out a way to get it onscreen. I want Pygmy Mummies, giant dog-faced zombie warriors and a cute little kid! We need a matching villain for every invincible hero, a giant scorpion man and a whole lot of brand new (and pointless)... Read full review »

Hello hello, for the purposes of this epinion, I shall be know as Sir Not-Appearing you see, this is actually part of the funniest movie write off hosted by ?whimsical weirdo d.markusen?, if an illegitimate part. When I read Kris-Kochanski?s entry I laughed so hard I was taken to a mental... Read full review »

The Mummy Returns is a well-crafted movie in the sense that it is guaranteed to make money. What Mummy?
The only downside to this movie is the oh-so-sequel quality of it. It falls prey to a lot of what plagues sequels. It tries to be too much more than the original. Yet it still manages to be a pretty good film.
There are few movies that attempt this and succeed. Aliens is one. Empire...

Live from Reno, Nevada on HBO! Brendan Fraser vs El Rio della Scorpio!!
Sequels to movies usually do well at the box office the first week, but eventually die off pretty quickly. This most likely is a result of bad reviews of critics and what you hear from your friends. "Oh my god dude, that movie bites, I can't believe I wasted $12 on that skatness". A typical quote... Read full review »
Squaresoft presents: The Mummy Returns!
Dozens of sheeple scuttled their worthless asses into the insanely uncomfortable Famous Players seats on the damp and rainy Friday afternoon that was May 11, 2001. Loud, vicious, repugnant and heartless, these 'movie-goers' had the audacity to refuse me the right to pass by their wretched frames to... Read full review »
Watch Out For Mini Mummies !!
Just got home from seeing the new release The Mummy Returns. Less gore than the original, I could have had lunch before. I will get into the movie review after the cast low-down. Almost all of the original cast returned, which is great. You already have the heads up on the old characters.

Mummy Returns Widescreen Edition DVD
Flanked by fabulous computer- generated battle scenes that would make BRAVEHEART proud THE MUMMY RETURNS is a fast-paced sequel that surpasses the hit 1999 original both directed by Stephen Sommers. Virtually the entire cast has come back for another exciting go-round this time trying to prevent Imhotep Arnold Vosloo from gaining control of the Bracelet of Anubis and taking on the Scorpion King the Rock for control of the world. But to gain that power Imhotep and his vicious true love Anck-Su-Namun Patricia Velasquez must get to the Oasis of Ahm Shere before Rick O'Connell Brendan Fraser his wife Evie Rachel Weisz their son Alex Freddie Boath the mysterious Ardeth Bay Oded Fehr and Evie's brother Jonathan John Hannah who provides much of the comic relief. Set in 1933 THE MUMMY RETURNS combines elements of the STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES films in letting loose a scintillating thrill-ride of a movie chock-full of terrific special effects and marvelous locations Morocco Jordan and London erupting in a spirited tale of flight and fantasy sword and sorcery. The addition of Freddie Boath to the cast increases the suspense as well as the comedy; his scenes with the evil Lock-Nah fiercely played by OZ veteran Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje are among the best in the film. THE MUMMY RETURNS also features professional wrestler the Rock as the Scorpion King who was defeated in 3067 BC and is ready to be resurrected in the Year of the Scorpion.
