I discovered the Toshiba e310 selling for under $250 after rebates and at that price (the cheapest I?ve ever seen for a Pocket PC), I figured it was too sweet a deal not to try it.
Pros:
1. It is soo thin and light! I can actually fit this thing in my pocket!
2. It plays music...

INTRODUCTION
Some reading this review will already be familiar with PocketPCs. But for many, this will be their very first PocketPC device and are as clueless about PocketPCs as I was before I bought the Toshiba e310. So I will start by reviewing the features unique to the e310, but then...

My First Pocket PC
When my wife bought me a Palm IIIe about 3 years ago for Christmas, she had no idea that what she had given me would change the way I managed my time FOREVER! Unfortunately, the IIIe met its untimely end when I inadvertently launched it from my laptop bag and smashed it on my tile floor.

The Digital Swiss Army Knife
WOW! My first PDA was the Palm M500, while a good/solid pda, it was a tad boring. It worked though, and I used it for about a month. Then my girlfriend needed a PDA with her jealousy that I got one, I saw this as a grand opportunity to pawn off my grayscale m500 on her and get myself a shiney new... Read full review »

Because of my job and my personal interest, I've had my share of PDAs. I'm not kidding, but I've owned (or currently own) the following PDAs since 1994: HP 100LX, HP 200LX, HP 320LX, Palm Pilot 1000, 5000, Palm Professional, Palm III, Palm V, Palm IIIc, 2xPalm VII, Palm m100, iPAQ 3630, and now the... A Great Entry into Pocket PC World
After 3 years of service, I finally decided it was time to trade in my trusty Palm IIIxe and upgrade to a newer, nicer unit. I didn't want to break the bank, especially since I think much nicer, more flexible "tablet" devices are right around the corner (see http://www.oqo.com). After wavering for... Read full review »

Absoulty Great PDA
I bought mine in a store brand new and it was the best Pocket PC I have found so far. Too bad my broke but in the time I had it it great. The only real problem I had was when I found myself listening to MP3's. One day I was on a flight to Mexico and I was listening to MP3's and I fell asleep and... Read full review »
A nice pocket PC, but needs more accessories.
The Toshiba e310 is a decent pocket PC for the money. However, it is important to research the functions before purchasing.
GOOD: The design is very sleek. It easily fits into my coat pocket and/or back pack. The weight is very light, (my cell phone weighs more) which makes it comfortable...

My switch from Palm to Pocket PC
I've had a palm for over 3 years and mainly used it to remind me of appointments. It was showing its age, and I decided to get a new one - I really wanted a better screen and one with color. A coworker showed me his $500 Sony which ran on Palm OS, and I was not impressed. Small screen and no... Read full review »
