Great substitute for my laptop
I bought 2 of these almost a year ago, one for myself and one for my wife. Our uses are very different, whereas I use mine for business (and Sudoku), she uses hers for audio, video and playing scrabble. We have both grown very attached to our PDAs.

I cannot help but think that some people that wrote reviews on this unit either got a total lemon (it happens with any brand) or do not know what they are talking about, assuming they actually OWN one of these.

NOT BAD FOR $250.00
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE PDA MARKET NOW FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS. I NEVER REALLY PURCHASED ONE BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PRICE. COMPLETE CRAP - EXCEPT FOR WIRELESS FEATURE
Unbelievable that HP can put out miserable crap like this.
My 1945 worked much more reliably than this.
You cannot rely on reminders to remind you, alarms to wake you, or notes to open on the fly when you need them.
You cannot even rely on the memory hogging system security add-ons!...

Wanted to Love It, But Can't
I've had three Handspring PDA's in the past five years (upgraded once, then dropped it and destroyed the screen). In spite of them being the absolute bare minimum, I miss them. Nice unit
I moved from a Palm 100 to this unit and the differences are absolutely amazing. Of course the operating system syncs better with Outlook than the Palm did, but so does everything else.
I have load Pocket Genealogist on my unit and it works great, making those field notes so much easier...

Be sure to fasten your seatbelt. The 2415 crashes.
Overall the hp IPAQ 2415 is a good pda. It has lots of features that I like. However, it crashes about once a month. Also, in order to use the wireless function, I have to reboot the unit. It an inconvenience that is getting very annoying. Read full review »
