Originally from Texas, Archie Bell & The Drells hit #1 with their first single recorded for Atlantic in 1968, the gold-selling 'Tighten Up'. In 1975, they signed to Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff's Philadelphia International subsidiary label TSOP (The Sound Of Philadelphia) and recorded this R&B Top 10 album. The first two singles taken from it, 'I Could Dance All Night' and 'The Soul City Walk' charted, but the third single, 'Let's Groove', provided them with their biggest hit since 'Tighten Up'. This release is the first time that this classic album has been issued on CD and the booklet features full annotation by PIR authority Tony Rounce. Edsel.

2009 three CD set of solo live tracks from the Deep Purple vocalist, authorized by Ian Gillan himself. Disc One was recorded at London's legendary Rainbow Theatre on 4th March 1981, with Bernie Torme on lead guitar. With the exception of one song, the performance is previously unreleased. Disc Two features the band's triumphant headlining set at the Reading Festival on 29th August 1981, with Janick Gers on lead guitar. Only half of the songs have previously been available. Disc Three features exciting extras: five songs recorded in April 1982 for BBC Radio 1's Friday Rock Show and five songs from a concert in Nottingham in March 1981.
